Camera Phone Alternative Camera For Your Handheld

13 posts in this topic

Camera Phones are the latest trend. But is it worth buying them yet. If you have a PDA,

VEO has an alternative, the Veo Photo Traveler.

Plug the Photo Traveler into your PocketPC's CF memory card slot and you're ready to

take photos with your handheld.

Full color preview lets you frame the photo and instantly see the result. The swivel

lens allows you to easily capture both self-portrait and traditional forward-facing photos.

An adjustable focus lens is also featured. Takes photos with a resolution of 640x480 and 24-bit color.

Works with:

iPAQ 36xx, 38xx, 39xx

Toshiba e570, e740

Dell Axim X5

The camera phones are slick but they don't hold that many pictures. I decided to get the Motorola C350 . I like the look and it has some interesting features. http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?id=253

Just thought I would share . Also if anyone thinks I should get a different phone suggest away. All I know is that I'm tired of my shitty old Nokia.

The problem with getting a cell in my town is they want you to give them a 300 USD deposit, then pay a month in advance fro the service.. Im too poor, all you guys seem independently wealthy :(

They hve some really nice and clear screened ones at several of the local cell places, and the local sprint store seems to love carrying the expensive and tent-in-my-pants sexy phones.. they even had one that was a MP3 player a bit back... its torture I tell you!

independantly wealthy? BWAH-HAH-HAHAHA...not quite. I saved money for my phone (150) and got one of the cheapest plans I could get. And I am building a home-built PC because I am not about to pay all that money for a new store bought one. Plus, it is more fun to put it together. :)

I only see them want a deposit if you have bad (or no) credit.
