I believe it's always important to keep challenging yourself, keep learning and improving through projects that also benefit to others.

I'm a french-canadian computer engineering university student, new to this place but always eager to learn. I have a bit of experience with c++ and php and would be delighted to work on any project that could contribute to the community. I'm always looking for new challenges to improve myself, so I'm game for anything :)

Personally, I am working on making a set of tools in php to provide computer-cellphone interaction. Something that is quite an advantage for users of the Telus service here in canada, considering that one can browse around on the internet for free on some phones :) (don't even need to have money in your account). But as I said, I'm game with helping anyone with a productive project. I'm just waiting for the suggestions people :).

Here's an idea for a tool:

Make program that will:

1) Craft a buffer for use in:

1.1) buffer overflows

1.2) format strings

2) Remote gdb over SSL/blowfish

3) Edit ELF32/ELF64 binaries to add/delete/modify sections

4) Stack trace for local binaries

5) Anything else

You could set up a cvs server to get this started.

Here's another idea:

start auditing code

For those of you that don't read the "Hack Radio/TV" forum here is a recently started project that everyone can take a day and participate in. If you have ever thought about starting your own radio show check out the Hacker Media Public Access project first. With this you can create just one episode without the commitment and effort of starting a whole new show.

Also check out this keynote speech by Jason Scott from the Rubicon5 convention. It has to do with getting off your ass and starting something.

I'm in for any kind of communal project.

In the last year I've done a lesson guide to learning the binary system, a relatively popular QCD skin, tons and tons of websites, and movies (among learning C programming and Japanese). If there's a project of sorts we want to start off the ground, I can offer my skills in the client-side web programming/management dept, the video editing/encoding dept, basic streaming servers dept, and the graphics dept (covers, signs, photochopping madness).

Ive been working on a project or two.

Im in the process of developing a TV show about the 'system.' Mainly, finding flaws and showing whats up. Instead of saying "Oh look you can do this!" Say "Look at this problem.. heres a few ways to fix it, that solve the problem" For example, one part im working on, is registering a kid into my local school system that doesn't exist. (When you see this, you will see all the dumb ways to prevent kids from out of the area from registering, its all stupid) And I will go over ways to fix it.

But unfortunatly, with the loss of my main ways to get around (A car) Its been slightly hard to get things done by myself. So, as soon as I get another car, work will proceed much faster, I plan on producing a show here in the next few months if things go good.

Also working on a few ways (Following a few topics of discussion in random places of this forum) to pretty much control things like, Sprint and Verizon cell services.

So I got a few things going on, and as always, any help in the way of the show would be appreciated. (Like filming or whatever)

Well, at the moment, were a bit low on great ideas.. But, we got a few with things like, getting into peoples accounts, and some hard core SEing. Like, I mentioned before, controlling other peoples Sprint accounts, adding on cell phones, etc. We have a few sessions of wardriving, and 'peaking' at peoples files. Then, telling them how to secure the system. Some people dont like that for some reason.

But, were always keeping an eye out for interesting things to record.

Just came across this thread and hopefully it will get me started in writting articles again. My latest interest is VoIP. I'm the 'VoIP Guy' at work and have been in charge of our Cisco Call Manager since I started. I had no formal training on the system, but in the last year and a half have learned soo much about the system just by tinkering around and reading everything I can about it. I've been wanting to do a write up or overview of the system, how it works and how the companion voicemail system, Unity, works. Look for something in the next couple months!

BTW, if anyone wants to work together on this project, PM me and well get some ideas and direction going for the paper!

Medical Electrical Equipment - Part 1-9: General Requirements For Basic Safety And Essential Performance - Collateral Standard: Requirements For Environmentally Conscious Design En 60601-1-9:2008
Environment is vital for every human being. Although technology is constantly improving The main objective should be to ensure that new systems remain safe. The new standards that regulate the safety of medical equipment in terms of environmental protection were created to tackle this issue. This standard is a collateral one with as its goal to improve the environmental impact of all medical electrical devices. It takes into consideration specifications for the product, its manufacturing, design, logistics, installation; use; end-of-life management. This means protecting the environment and people's health from harmful substances, preserving raw materials and energy while reducing the production of waste and minimising the environmental harms caused by it. From the time of specification until the final stage of managing equipment, all criteria required to achieve this goal should be taken into consideration. Characterization Of Bulk Materials - Determination Size-Weighted Fine Particles And Crystalline Silica Content – Part 3: Sedimentation Method EN 17289-3:2020
A variety of methods are employed in the process of production and use diverse materials. Each requires a distinct amount of regulation, based on the size of the undertaking. EN 17289-3: 2020 is one of the documents that outlines the application methods for the crystalline silica. This document outlines the procedure of determining the size-weighted fine Fraction (SWFF) or the size-weighted Fine Fracture of Crystalline Silica (SWFFCS). It is built on the sedimentation process using a liquid sandstone technique. The goal of this document is to allow users to evaluate bulk materials with regard to their size-weighted fine fraction and crystalline silica content. This document is applicable to crystallized silica with bulk material which has been thoroughly studied and validated for the assessment of the size-weighted, fine fraction, and the crystallized silica.Specification of production techniques simplifies the process of creating a control system. We suggest purchasing international standards for your facility in case you are looking to enter new markets. Have a look at the recommended sist catalog standards sist-en-iso-14877-2003 review.

Systems And Software Engineering - Software Product Quality Requirements And Evaluation (Square) -- Common Industry Format (Cif) For Usability: User Requirements Specification (Iso 25065:2019) EN ISO 25065:2020
Today, the key benefit of a high-end position in the international market is the high quality of software. Understanding the regulations of these markets is achievable through reference to international requirements. These rules are contained in documents such as EN ISO 25065: 2020.This document offers a framework and consistent terminology for defining the requirements of users. It defines the industry standard form (CIF) to describe user requirements, and includes the content elements.A user requirements specification outlines the formal requirements and documentation of a set. It can be utilized to aid in the development, evaluation, and maintenance of interactive software that is usable. In this document, the term "user" requirements refers to:) user-system interaction requirements to reaching the desired results (including specifications for system outputs and their characteristics) as well as) quality-related requirements for use which define the quality standards related to the outcomes of the users who interact with the system via interactive interface and serve to determine the level of acceptance for the system.ISO/IEC 25030 introduces quality requirements. One kind of quality requirement is the use-related quality requirement. The content elements of the specification for user requirements are designed to be used as part of documentation resulting from the processes described in ISO 9241-210, and from human-centered design methods like those described in ISO 9241-220.This document is intended to be used by requirements engineers business analysts, product managers as well as owners of products, as well as individuals who acquire systems from third-party suppliers. CIF Series of Standards addresses usability data (as described in ISO 9241-11 and ISO/IEC TR 25606).Beyond usability, users' demands could include other views such as human-centricity, for example, introduced in ISO 9241-220 as well as other quality perspectives offered by ISO/IEC the TS 25011 standard and ISO/IEC 25030.This document was designed for interactive systems however the guidelines can be utilized in any area. This document doesn't recommend any particular approach, lifecycle, process or methodology. The user requirements specification's content can be used for an iterative process of development. This includes the elaboration, evolution and revising of requirements. as in agile development).
