Debian Project Leader Elections for 2003

3 posts in this topic

If anyone uses debian, or is even thinking about ever using it, then you may find this interesting:

Debian uses a democratic system to run the policies and representatives of its distro, which I personally think is one of the great things about it.

I am not sure who I will vote for, but I know it won't be Branden Robinson as he in the past has shown qualities that I don't like such as arrogance in dealing with his XFree86 packages (which I think are not as good as distros such as mandrake or redhat's packages and debian is my distro of choice!)

Heh yeah when the first thing you see on a package maintainers site is "How about a nice cup of shut the fuck up", you might tend to dislike the guy :).
