It still passes along my ANI. Is it like this for anyone else?

Yeah, you'll have to tell us exactly what you're doing before we can figure out what's going on :)

10102880 still passes along my ANI. However, using it, I am able to place calls to toll-free numbers that normally block calls from payphones. Yet, when I call up an ANAC to find out what my ANI is, it recognizes everything.

hmm, I wonder what #4ESS you're served out of. If you like, PM me your NPA/NXX and i'll do some investigation.

Also, what ANACs are you dialing?

Well I went out to the payphone to see what is going on, and here's what happens.

When I op divert, the ANI II digits are 23.

When I don't, it read it back as 27.

However, after the ANI II digits, it still reads back the number that I am calling from.

Try dialing into different phone company's operators. Like 1-800-646-0000 (Telus)

I noticed some issues with 10-10-288-0 the other day. I couldn't call Phone Hog (800-382-9980) or any other 800 number from a payphone or my home for about a few days, but on Thursday it started to work again. Maybe AT&T is just having some issues at the moment. However, it still blocks my ANI.

Hmm, within the past few days I have used 10102880 to get to phonehog here in 651, but I only have problems with my (of course legitimatly obtained minutes) phonehog stuff

Well I tend to use my local ANAC circuit if possible.

my local telco really doesn't like letting me divert to local ANAC...

I wipe my ass with a fresh list of ANACs every day. There's tons of them.

EDIT: Although I do think there needs to be a fresh reminder to everyone on which ones are Flex and which are Real-Time.

Laziness. Plain and simple. I only share if people ask, or if I'm curious to hear somebody else's opinion on something.
