I logged in a few days ago via SSL, accepted the certificate, but it dropped my IP in chat.

Am I doing it wrong? Or doesn't SSL hide your IP any more?

Thanks to who the thanks go to.

I think we're having issues with IRC SSL. I'll take a look when I get time. For now, stick with non-SSL on port 6667.

A temporary IRC network has wound up being set up. At the moment, it's mostly phreaks, so you should probably be okay with that if you decide to join :P .

binrev2.mooo.com . 6697 for SSL.

The status page at http://irc.binrev.netis down and I can't even SSH into the box, I'm guessing "Something Bad" happened. Probably time to finally build that new IRC server...

See the new announcement pinned at the top of the forums...  We are trying something new.

Did I miss something? Has the server changed or is it offline permanently? Looks like it's been down for a few weeks now.

It's still up, we're on irc.binrev.net #binrev right this moment. Perhaps you're hitting the old IP instead of the DNS?

SX is running the server that irc.binrev.net points to at the moment.
