Malware Removal Tips

1 post in this topic

If anyone is interested in my opinion about malware removal in Windows, I have 2 tips for you.

1) avast free - because it has boot-time scan with RAW disk access (so it can effectively detect rootkits)

2) Emsisoft  Emergency Kit

Basically it is a malware scanner that can be installed in Windows for malwrae removal. It also has raw disk access

option and quite good detection rate from my tests, so that's why I have included it here.

If you have other opinions or suggestions, let me know.

Thank you

P.S. Probably many of you have Linux as a main OS, so you wouldn't need this. But I hope that they could be of use to someone.
