Just noticed in General Chat the repeated new threads one after the other by the user essentialoilsite. I believe it is another one of those damn marketing bots or just someone trying to earn a quick buck spamming advertisement.

Anyway just thought you might want to know if you didn't notice. Mainly looking at you mods >.>

Can't tell whether it has be banned yet browsing on my phone...

Damn bots getting loose got to keep an eye on them... >.> <.< >.>

more replys

Ya they don't get until Monday,

I have searched essential oils, and i can't see the posts, can you tell me the email they used to see if it is one i recognize, or possible it is competition. If it is me or someone i'm paying we will take care of it as I hate spam myself.

Michael

and..

ok i registered and can now see the posts, yes they do point to my site. can you tell more of the person that registered, and what i the email the signed up with ?

while RockyMountainOils.com is mine I did not allow those posts and have already started trying to find out if anyone related or working for me did it. Thank you for the heads up and I will keep looking into this. the seo was just some guy I found on elance

stankdawg: can you disclose the email address that was used to sign up the spammer?

Okay it isn't a bot but a hired spammer -.-

The guy seems nice enough though, although it could just be a visage but as long as he gets rid of the spam I have no reason to judge him considering I don't even know him.

Anyway I forgot you guys could find people so easily...Dare I ask how you did that or was it just a google search of the spammers email address?

dropping docs is our specialty...

essentialoilsite@yahoo.com and it registered from 112.206.132.157

Obviously set up specifically for spamming.

And this is a beautiful uncovering of how shady a lot of these SEO companies are. They just SPAM the hell out of tons of sites and call that SEO. It is not. It is spamming and it does your companies reputation more harm than good.

Respect to the owner for acknowledging it and I hope he goes after the company that is harming his reputation when they were supposed to be helping it. I would request that he tell us the name of the company/person who is claiming that being a scum of the Earth SPAMMER is legitimate SEO services so that he/they are immediately discredited so that they cannot do this to someone else again.
