Super-Cheap Industrial IDE Flash Modules!

4 posts in this topic

I recently purchased large piles of M-Systems and PQI industrial Flash modules. With 2 million writes minimum, they're viable hard disk replacements in embedded projects, or as hard disk replacements in vintage computers (my personal favorite use!). Anyway, I have 100 64 MB units and 100 128 MB units, $5 and $7.50 respectively. Check the link for more information/pictures:

I hope they're not like this China made flash module wherein they break easily after few months of use.

Nope, they are PQI and M-Systems industrial units...in my experience, both very reliable brands. They should be arriving 6 DEC, so I'll have more to say about them after that!

Could mark these up to 9.99 and 14.99 and sell them to 8bit/16bit hardware whores  I have i think a 80mb flash on my old Amiga and I think a 16mb or 32mb on old Apple IIGS with dual applecats

Just get the word out there in Atari/Amiga/Apple land you'll def move a few
