Is it a wireless network, and these are unwanted users connecting to your AP?

If that's your network and those are unwanted users leeching your wifi then just secure it with WPA (or have some fun sniffing the network/some MITM action ^.^), but if your the one leeching than just be happy you got a connection.

You can secure and hide your wireless.

If you hide it they will need your ssid (your network name) in order to connect, as well as your password. Basically they wont even know it is there, so they cant use air crack or somthing like it to get your wep/wpa (wpa is better :-)

LOIC is 1337! I actually tried it once to see how it worked, and just ended up DOSing my own wlan from all the traffic it generates. Binrev was fine though.

In that case, the first thing you should do is lock down your machine. For all you know they might already be having "Fun."
