i had kernel panic with 8.10

after two days it happened again with 9.04 !

i need some suggestions - what linux os should i try for usb flash?

the only that worked was backtrack 3 so far...

That doesn't make sense I've been using 8.10 and 9.04 religiously without a single problem, It sounds like a hardware issue of some sort.

Are you trying to run it from a flash drive? That could be part of the problem. I would try puppy or dsl if you want to run from flash.

No, it does make sense. Sometimes Linux is a crapshoot. Changes in drivers break support with specific combinations or configurations of hardware. Sometimes a distro just won't work on your machine. You have to make a choice whether you're going to spend hours and hours tracking down what exactly is causing this, or use another distro that works. I've had problems with specific versions of distros on specific machines, where they just won't work, and had to move to another distro. It's not that uncommon.
