Posted April 14, 2009 (edited) I did a Google search, and found that it's a sound file used in Asterisk. It could be nothing, just to fool people, but not necessarily. Check telcodata.us to see who the carrier is. Edited April 14, 2009 by JmanA9

Posted April 17, 2009 Just thought I'd mention, those are all TRXTel confs. If you'd like to use them, go right ahead, but they're just Asterisk meet mes. Also, the person who maintains the asterisk machine didn't set the privacy bits up right, so just be aware that if you call and the conference happens to be assigned to somebody, your number will show up in their logs unless you divert.

Posted May 11, 2009 Sorry if I'm like reviving dead matter here, but I called this. That is a WEIRDASS REMOTE!!!This is NOT a Gentner (now Burk) GSC3000. I'm the engineer at a station that uses one. When you call up a GSC3000, it immediately asks for passcode. On ours, that's 5 digits + # to get in to the main menu. This one appears to give you a few seconds of audio from the transmitter room, then allow you to enter commands?! It certainly didn't take the commands that work for the Burk, such as 999 (disconnect) and 601-616* / #. (6xx* - read back metering value on channel xx once. 6xx# - read three times.)Hopefully, I didn't turn off their transmitter or anything while trying those Burk commands. I'd like to imagine it'd ask for a passcode before DOING ANYTHING.It says 'kfhn' or 'kfhm' -- neither is licensed. Huh?Ok, I found it. Here's a number for a Gentner GSC3000 transmitter. DO NOT ABUSE THIS!Heck, just dial and listen. I wouldn't play around with this.936-549-7241
Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) I think it's saying KSHN. Anyway, the command structure appears similar. Wait for four digits, and respond accordingly. They wouldn't be using an older firmware version with a different command set, would they? Also, how old are these things? They could've replaced it.EDIT: Why would the transmitter room have a constant 2200 hz tone? I think that might be it's attempt first at a modem handshake. Posted June 1, 2009 (edited) 1(973)-409-3274do you want to help legalize marijuana?to help legalize marijuana call 1-973-409-3274 none of your information is needed simply press # and if we get 1,000,000 votes before august 6th 2009 (8/6/09) then president barack obama will consider legalizing marijuanaI once advocated for medical pot but I've since changed my mind on it being legal since I realized what I've been seeing. What I've been seeing is that when pro-pot users aren't on their soapbox for legalizing it, they always describe their pot use differently than what they claim pot does to people during their soapbox. I've checked pro-pot sites, and all the advocates say these about legalizing it :-it doesn't get anyone high, in fact, it does nothing to you.-it's not a drug-alcohol and cigarettes do worse things to peopleWhat I realized was this :I've been around many pot users that describe their experience using it this way :"Man was I really messed up. I was wasted. It fucked me up!"Then I realized that when I hear them say this it's because while not on their soapbox to legalize it, they describe it honestly. Which means they've been lying when they've said it produces "nothing" and "no high is involved" - and if cigarettes "do worse", how come I never hear a cig user say "It really messed me up. I was fucking HIGH!"?! Clearly the advocates just say that on their soapbox in hopes there won't be any people like me who hear them when they're off their soapbox. They guess wrong- I heard it all, so that's why I changed my mind. And I also don't think they should all lie. Lying impresses only losers.
