Blue box parts list errata

4 posts in this topic

Someone pointed out to me today that I neglected to put the 14 1000 ohm resistors on the blue box parts list at www.projectmf.org. This is, unfortunately, true. If you are building one from scratch, have received one of the PCBs at "The Last Hope", or bought one from me, you will need to order these to complete the project.

The resistor locations and values are clearly marked on the board, but would be easy to miss when making a Digikey order. They are needed for keyboard encoding to work, even with external switches.

Y'know, I checked the BOM on projectmf.org, and the resistors seem to be there!

Goody.. that's the parts list I am using. This thing should be fun. Thanks again for making it available to the common schmuck like me.
