2700hz Pezio Buzzer (2700hz)

Hmm, if you do something to the current, you think you could get 2600 out of it?

I know its kind of irrelevant now, but it might work on livengood and other places that use old school MF.

Unfortunately the 2600 you're looking to achieve is a 2600 Hz sine wave. A peizo buzzer will emit a sawtooth or square wave, which is why it buzzes instead of "boops".

It doesn't take a lot of electronics parts to convert a square wave to a sine wave. a couple of low pass filters. i dunno if the waveform would be close enough for the trunk equipment to respond though.

I've never had any problem getting equipment to respond to me whistling 2600 hz. That, and it's both cheaper and much, much more portable ;) .

Apparently our good friend Alan can. It's really cool to witness. Ask him the next time we all hang out again, man. Hopefully at another meeting when the weather looks up.
