Windows IGMP Stack Flaw/Buffer Overrun.

2 posts in this topic

Anyone have any more info on this....

Apparently there is a remote exploitable flaw in the Windows TCP/IP stack related to the IGMP. This means that any machine on an infected network can be affected by this, since it is a stack flaw it is NOT caught by software firewalls (MS or 3rd party).

Patches are out so get updating, originally reported June 2006. (nothing like a tardy fix ;-).
