i think that's an exmaple of nmap banking for 'legit' points. :)

Actually 31337, 1337, and 6969 are pretty common trojan ports so I'd add 'em ^_^

Im assuming your using mandrake pw, so dont forget to upgrade nmap and a few other things; Not sure of the current versions as I only use slackware but in the past sometimes the nmap version is out of date.. I prepher the bleeding edge myself.

well.. it depends. -sV is REALLY noisy. he might want to do some more passive recon with -sS, then inspect other ports with -sV if necessary.

Maybe... What would someone find noisy about a port scan and then soemone connecting to every single port and then sendmail SIGSEGVing and a funny new entry in /etc/shadow? :P
