changing a xp logging in password

27 posts in this topic

Hey as a prank my roommate changed my password to get on my computer and changed the background for a stupid shemale porn picture lol. I run on windows xp. I want to know how to do what he did and how to keep it from happening in the future as before, I thought that kind of hack was impossible to accomplish and I was really stunned when he did it. He wouldnt tell me how cause he is a stupid roommate lol, like all roommates. Oh and if you guys have any idea of how to gte him back it would be awsome hahha, well not anything too bad I just want to change his pass and do something he probably doesnt know how to do. Thanks!

Reboot your computer and keep hitting the f8 key while it is booting up. If done right it will give you a prompt asking how you want to log in, the option you want is at the top "Safe Mode". Choose that, let it load and at the user login select the admin account. Now as long as he did not change the PW or set one for you it should let you right in. Then go to control panel, user accounts and change the admin PW and your own to whatever you want.

And as for getting back at him, restart his machine, look for the key to get into his Bios, and look around for the option to require a PW on boot if it has one. Failing that, turn his machine off, take the case off and unplug the IDE cable to his hard drive or CD-Rom. Then put it back in, but not all the way. Make it look like it is plugged in but not really plugged in. Its more dramatic when you do it to the HD.

Haha ya I could do that. I still dont know how to make my keylogger non visible to the user though. Ill look into it. I have to do it when his computer is on and when he is not looking; that might require some skills lol. Any other ideas that have nothing to do with opening the case, etc lol?

Get in on his computer, the easyiest way would be wait until he leaves the room with his computer on and go to command prompt and create another account and password, (be sure to add it to the administrator group), after you sign on back up all his files to a cd and then reformat his computer after its done create your own background with something like "you have been hacked bitch!!" or what ever you like, after he has cussed and threatened to kill you, give him the backup files so he can redo his computer.

Or you can go in under his account name and type this into notepad:

:1

start "Your fucked"

goto 1

Save to his desktop clickme.bat. Probably not as good as letting him think you just wiped all his files and turned his computer back to when he bought it but it might work for you.

Set a hidden camera up to record him masturbating to porn websites then email the video to all his friends.

Go in the back of his computer. Where his power supply is. Hit the little dip switch form 115v to 220v. Then walk away. This will not hurt his computer but it will not turn on.

I know the password issue has already been addressed. But here is something I just came across so I'll post it up. The cool thing about it is you don't have to reboot the computer or be in safe mode to do it. It doesn't require any additional programs either. This isn't from me I just took it from someones page. Check it out here: http://www.knight47.com/password.htm There is also a video showing how to do it.

Step 1: Click on Start, then on Run, and type in CMD, then hit enter.

Step 2: Now a black box will appear, type in net user and hit enter.

Step 3: Now you'll notice how all the accounts on the computer will be displayed, pick the account you want to hack.

Step 4: Now type in net user ACCOUNT NAME * and hit enter.

Step 5: It will ask you to replace the existing password, this is how we over-write it.

Step 6: Type in your new password, and hit enter, now type it again, and hit enter one last time.

Step 7: Now it should say something like command completed successfully.

Thats true but you have to be in the computer in the first place. If you can't get by the logon screen then you can't do that. Of course if he leaces the room for a few minutes, then go for it.

Thanks !!! Um but what about prank ideas so I can get him back? Haha.

Here is a good one. Get on to his computer and hold alt and hit print screen. Make sure no windows are open. Next open paint and hit control v. It will post hisdesttop into it. Save it as when ever you want. Next dragg all of his icons to the recycling bin. Drag that off the screen. Unlock the start bar and drag it too off the screen or just hide it. Next right click the desktop and change his background to the screen shot you took earlyer. He will have no idea what to do.

Or you could simply steal his power cord and hide it. LOL!

Extream i know, but funny = yes.

I think that's the best idea I've seen so far.

Install blackbox for windows on his computer. bb4win.com It's pretty easy to do, and would probably freak someone out if they enjoy the desktop buttons for windows.

heres one of my favoretes that can be done in 2 min.

1 earase all IE icons off of the desktop, start menu, ect

2 right click on the desktop and create shortcut.

3 for the location type : shutdown -s -t30 -c "You got H4x0r3d" or whatever mesage you want to give him.

4 for the title type Internet Explore.

5 DO NOT CLICK ON THE ICON!

6 right click on the Icon and go into proporties then change the icon to the internet explore.

7 drag and drop the icon to places that you deleted it from.

8 (optional) create another shortcut but this time type shutdown -a. this will stop the 30 second shutdown.

this can be done for any program not just Internet explore.

Here are some pranks that are a bit more subtle.

Depending on how bright he is , you can annoy him for weeks.

Btw, what does binrev have against 7-zip attachments?
