No disrespect but this is very old news =)

There's still ways to go though without having an official API. My biggest concern is that most apps you could make require some form of input, so somebody needs to begin reversing existing apps to understand how to bring up the keyboard when needed - and even then it would need to NOT be predictive. SSH client would be my fave thing to have, alongside IRC or some Jabber IM client.

I was hanging out with Nightwatch last weekend and the Hello World is really old news. He now has a super nintendo emulator running on it.

No offense taken. I think I was trying to point out the lifecycle -- how long it takes the popular media to catch on to things that have been going on for a while.

Couldn't really tell if it was legit though, YouTube has horrible quality.

That was probably Mobile Terminal.app - the first 'real' third-party application released.
