There is only one day left to save the internet

Well, crap. The FCC has to be convinced that freedom and a level playing field on the internet is important, and there is only one more day to convince them of this

LOL.. don't get sucked into this crap. 'Net neutrality' is a campaign by big corporations levying to have the internet regulated by the government, which means they will collect taxes to pay for the infrastructure and make laws to control the internet.

Here's some animated cartoons to get the point across.. http://www.handsoff.org/blog/

Strange that the "'Net neutrality' is a campaign by big corporations levying to have the internet regulated by the government" but yet the regestrant, admin, and tech email addresses for the site that has the "point" are ATT.NET

:nono:

Once I get 10Gbps connection (and this is standard across the first world, and not limited to 10Gbps, but actually pulling 10Gbps if its available) then I'f fine with them limiting me to 9Gbps unless it's a special site then I get the full 10Gbps, until then don't discriminate my data based on domain or protocol.

Actually, that makes sense because they are telco lobbyists.

See this article @ the register: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/06/22/net_neut_a_killer/

Also http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/05/09/ve...net_neutrality/ Read just the last sentence if it's speed you're interested in. And where would this standard 10 Gbps connection be available for comprable rates to what I'm paying a month (about $50)? Most of the world isn't even connected to the net yet - only 17% of the world's population is online [ http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm ]

Without net neutrality, sure you will pull faster speeds, on sites that pay up, but everything else will dribble out of a soda straw :voteno:

You s got brainwashed. This is covered up. You think they are telling the truth??

NOPE

They are going to lie and when it gets voted all the fine print and additions will tell the truth

SaveTheInternet.Com doesn't do anything. If the FCC wants something done, it'll happen. A hosting website based on content from other users won't convince them enough, they will just ignore it. How obvious. Waste your time, GG.

Fuck it.

If they make a new network, we'll just have to hack that too.
