Maybe a stupid question but, what does this " Rating: < 0 ( ) 3 > " below my user info mean?

It's your warn level.

Whenever you break the rules, you get a warn. Then, you'll see:

< 0 ( 1 ) 3 >

Right now, you have no warns (which is good.) If you manage to get three, then you're facing bannination. That said, if you're a good member for 6 months following the last warn, then we take it down a notch. That's pretty much the jist of it.

Eh?

That is actually more of a note for the mods. It is a quick way for us to remember why you were warned. The real reason is usually sent in a pm unless you are clearly a spammer. In that case you just get banned.

Yeah, but it still gives you a general idea if no PM is sent. I couldnt remember if I got a PM at the time, so I didnt want to tell the guy that he would get one.

Also, just to put it on the record...only YOU can see YOUR warn level (along with the moderators obviously). Other users cannot see your warnings or their reasons (unless you were to post the actual URL into the forum like someone did above ) so no one will even know if/when you get a warning in most cases unless you fly off the handle about it and make it public on your own.
