Yeah. I guess I should put it on oldskoolphreak.com soon!
Nice! Thanks for sticking PLA Radio in there. I'll put the phone number up on the PLA Radio site soon.

Oh, btw, is it possible in Asterisk to create a fast-forward and rewind feature? Maybe also a pause feature?
yes its controlplayback
type this into your asterisk cli
cliz0rs> show application controlplaybackcliz0rs> -= Info about application 'ControlPlayback' =-[Synopsis]:Play a file with fast forward and rewind[Description]:ControlPlayback(filename[|skipms[|ffchar[|rewchar[|stopchar[|pausechr]]]]]): Plays back a given filename (do not put extension). Options may also be included following a pipe symbol. You can use * and # to rewind and fast forward the playback specified. If 'stopchar' is added the file will terminate playback when 'stopchar' is pressed. Returns -1 if the channel was hung up, or if the file does not exist. Returns 0 otherwise. Example: exten => 1234,1,ControlPlayback(file|4000|*|#|1|0)cliz0rs>
Just type in cli# show applications to view all available apps.
I miss the PHX PBX Personal Phreaknic playground that was around back awhile ago.
That had everything.
Nevermind someone beat me to posting how to do it.

Wow. I consolidated my dialplan tonight by making one submenu and passing variables to it (the show name) and now my dialplan is about 8x shorter. Ahhh. It feels so much more manageable now.
Everything should work and sound the same tho, so if it doesn't let me know.

i was going to say something after i got home about it. i was trying to get onto binrev's radio and it wasn't working, so then of course i checked all of them. 1 and 2 were working, but the rest weren't. i was about to cry. but its all better now. am i the only one that calls in?
Sorry I had to make some file name changes tonight and Bin Rev took the longest since it has the most episodes. It should be working fine now though, you must of just caught it at the wrong moment.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I added all 40 episodes of Blue Box Podcast to the PBX tonight! It's option 9 from the main menu. I like their show a lot and it always has good, up to date, VoIP security info, so if you haven't checked them out before, I suggest you give them a listen.

Anyone got any other requests for shows the the pbx yet?
Jesus, 160+ episodes??! Holy fuck. It takes forever to download, convert, and then rename files, but I'll get started on it!
PS: I wish all file names were ep$$.mp3 so I didn't have to rename then to work with my script. Maybe I need to add some extra variables to the thing, like one for the file prefix.
i moved the htaccess file, so now you can get the directory folder.
wget -np -r twatech.org/eps

Alright, just got done working on the radio show PBX! Here's a list of changes I just made:
-Added 169 episodes of TWAT radio
-Changed the main menu recording. TWAT radio is extension 10
-Changed the submenus around a little so that I don't have to rerecord prompts every time a new episode is added
-Added episode 41 of Blue Box Podcast
-Added episode 168 of Bin Rev Radio
-Made thousands of noobs cry "0h n03s!" in unison!!

I kinda neglected the radio show PBX last week since I was at Astricon all week. So I did some updates tonight.

-Added episodes 42 and 43 of BlueBoxPodcast

Hey Natas, I was using your PBX last night and I noticed that most DTMF will play the show back to the beginning. So if you press 0 to pause it, when you unpause it it plays back from the beginning. Did you intentionally make this change?
No....I'm using "ControlPlayback" with the standard options, nothing special. So I dunno what the deal with that would be.
I just tested it, and it did go back to the beginning of the episode for me on one episode of Default. But another one I tested worked properly? WTF.

Sorry for not updating the PBX more often! I just did a bunch of updates and got the newest, Bin Rev Radio, Blue Box Podcast, and TWATECH episodes!!!
Posted December 14, 2006
Natas- Could you add all the old daily defaults as well or do those not exist anymore?
many, if not all, of the daily defaults are up on textfiles.com
Posted December 15, 2006
Well....my DID provider is down for an unknown amount of time now. So it looks like there's no sense in updating the PBX with Default Daily while its essentially offline for now, until I find a new inbound provider.
Same thing goes for the toll free extender.
