How to compile a wordlist ?

7 posts in this topic

Anyone know how you go about compiling a wordlist for use with WepAttack, or any utility that uses a wordlist.

There is a lot of word's in local use that would not be in any list I can find, so I would like to either make a new one or add to the existing wordlist.

Thanks for any info :-)

I've done a few in java, and it's a fairly simple bit of code. Basically just using an array of letters, numbers, symbols, etc (based on the type of words you want) and using a couple of loops. The symbols can be a pain, because you mostly need unicode conversion, and the output file can be quite large, but that's standard with most wordlist generators.

Once you have found as much wordlists as possible, there are bound to be duplicates so make sure ya do sort <filename> | uniq <newfile>
