Asterisk spoofing problem

13 posts in this topic

I've been playing around with Asterisk for a few weeks now and i'm in love with it. I figured while I was at it i'd add the Spoof option. Well......i've been fucking around with this damn thing forever and can't get it to connect. I'm using NuFone and the error is:

IAX2/198.22.67.70:4569-2 is circuit-busy

Mar 12 17:23:17 WARNING[1227]: chan_iax2.c:6985 socket_read: Call rejected by 19

8.22.67.70: No authority found

-- Hungup 'IAX2/198.22.67.70:4569-2'

== Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/1/0)

To me it looks like a simple case of me not entering my username right in 'cidspoof.agi', but I did. I even tried using my password and anything else i could stick in there that might work.....nothing.

So my question is: With NuFone, is there any addtional things I have to do to get this thing off the ground.

Thanx for any help

Did you properly escape the needed characters in the username, such as the @ symbol?

1. what up ~

2. You having a problem still?

3. Why are you using the cidspoof script (mad propts tho for homeboy making it)

but you dont need it

[nufone_trunk-27]

exten => s,1,Answer
exten => s,2,DigitTimeout,10
exten => s,3,ResponseTimeout,20
exten => s,4,Read(callfrom,dialtone,17)
exten => s,5,Read(callto,bong,21)
exten => s,6,SetCIDNum(${callfrom})
exten => s,7,SetVar(CALLFILENAME=${EXTEN:1}-${callfrom})
exten => s,8,Monitor(wav,${CALLFILENAME},m)
exten => s,9,Dial(IAX2/username@nufone/${callto},45|H)
exten => s,10,goto(s|1)
exten => s,11,fear(:)

The "dialtone" in s,4 priority is the name of the audio file I have playing

to tell me to dial the Calling Party Number.

press # when done entering cpn

The "bong" is the audio file I have playing to notify me to enter the Called Party's Number.

press # when done entering cpn

Comment out the s,7&s,8 if you dont want to record the call.

The "nufone" in priority s,9 is what I have that trunk named in my iax.conf

I will never understand why people go through horrendous acts of dialplan acrobatics when you can do caller ID spoofing in two lines:

exten => _1099NXXNXXXXXXNXXNXXXXXX,1,SetCallerID(${EXTEN:14})
exten => _1099NXXNXXXXXXNXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(IAX2/whatever/${EXTEN:4:10})

Greyarea did it the way he wanted it. Maybe he wanted to have a tone to prompt him to enter a number. Just because he didn't do it your way, that doesn't make it wrong. I personally like the way the grey did it.

See, I like it better this way - no waiting for bongs, just dial as fast as your fingers can carry you...also makes it easy to make minor changes using the phone's redial function. I never said it was wrong, I just called it comparatively complex and overdone. I tend to like simplicity :)

Recomendations for a IAX2 provider?

Voipjet.com and voxee.com both support caller id "spoofing." They aren't spoofing services, rather outgoing iax providers. However, they allow the sending of your own caller id.
