Linux tools

7 posts in this topic

Alright so I'm running a live cd of knoppix until I can get a new PC and have a hard drive for linux all to itself. So I was wondering, what are some good tools for linux (knoppix in this case) that I can use? Also any useful command line commands would be appreciated.

Running live cd means your running the OS off of your RAM. This is no way associated with the hdd. So if you install stuf it will go onto your ram which will be cleared once you turn off your PC.
