Im listening/reading to the specs from that page now, very impressive.. just learned that file systems size has been expanded to 2 TB.... heh..

And look at this:

Linux 2.6 also features improved (and rewritten) support for the NTFS filesystem (which is now also used in consumer products) and it is now possible to mount a NTFS volume read/write.

And it even has better blind support!!!!!!!

And finally (but not least important), the new release also includes support for the Tieman Voyager braille TTY device to allow blind users better access to Linux.

Too bad mine is munged, but its nice to know if I ever get a new one it will work perfectly.

Nice, it's seems they really had there work cut out. And from some ppl reactions it's great. added security, software and hardware support. Sounds like a egrep '(girl|tits|vagina)': /etc/Jenifer_Lopez | diff ; unzip;finger;sockstat;fsck; fsck; fsck; sockstat; finger; gzip; cd - :D

I sell a bumper sticker that is a type of unix porn... I need more I think.

Ya I agree, they really worked hard on it, Im very glad they are supporting blind users better, in winho its very hard to get anything set up, and everything is so expencive, both hardware AND software...

Its nice to know that somewhere out there is a programer who doesnt mind helping others for free by slaving over something he may never use himself; With JAWS being so damn expensive ($895.00 For Standard Edition, $1195.00 for the best and more expensive Professional Edition) and everyone trying to make money off of a group that doesnt have much becouse of the disability, many blind users (Including myself) just have the funds to get what they need to use a computer in the most effectiv maner; Lucky for me Im not ENTIRLY blind, but I know the frustration of being so when my one kinda working eye gives out on me from too much strain... I wouold never wish that on someone. With linux being more blind user friendly, it will help allot more people... and thats good for everyone.
