are you the admin of the site ?? or are you just trying to gain root of the ftp server witch doesent belong to you ?

You could always read some good txt's that are available on the net.

Or if you want to do it the quick way just download a brute forcers.

If you want to crack windows pwl files , get cain v2

If you want to crack LM and NTLM hashes, get l0phtcrack

If you want to crack HTTP auth, HTTP forums, FTP, POP3, telnet and netbios or samba shares, get brutus

here are a site with many good papers and txts

http://packetstorm.linuxsecurity.com/docs

I hope some of this has helped, didnt really know what you were asking for

this is ot but ... why do ppl asking questions always say email me. like you post to a board and ask someone to email you. does this make sense?

sorry if this seems like a flame its just one of my pet peeves. like you post a question dont ask to be emailed come back and check the board for an answer.

yep...just give the answer if you can, and let them come back for it. sure that person may not ever come back and give thanks, but someone ELSE may have the same questiona nd now it is answered for them.
