It doesn't work at ALL under Linux? Chances are you might have to do some research and write your own for it. Sucks, I know, but it might end up being your only solution. I have a Logitech MX-500 hooked up to a KVM switch between my PC and Linux box, and every button except the usual two don't work for shit in Linux. There are driver tutorials out there for mine, but I said fuck it - just not enough time and need.

Not to hijack you post, but I have a similar problem. My keyboard (USB) will never work to alter settings in my Bios, and it used to work fine. It's not really a problem because I have an old PS/2 keyboard that i can use, but I always wonder what makes a piece of hardware just decide to stop working after it worked fine in the past.

With the PS2 mouse plugged in, go into Bios, and look for the option of Legacy Support, and enabled it for USB. And on some it will say USB Mouse \ Keyboard, make sure thats on then as well. After that the USB keyboard should work.
