AVG and windows issue

6 posts in this topic

ok I recently downloaded and installed AVG free edition and Windows Security Alerts is telling me that I don't have antivirus turned on. I have AVG running in the taskbar. Do I have to do something with AVG or is Windows just being a bitch?

They don't play nice together. In my experience, sometime the Windows Security Center picks up on it, sometimes it doesn't. Your best bet is to make sure everything's updated (Windows Update and AVG.)

windows doesn't recognize AVG. No need to be concerned.

Just to let you know, the link for the open webcam directory in your sig doesn't work.
