listening in on LOE

2 posts in this topic

Ive just recently bought a scanner, and have taken an interest in NOAA weather satellites, and the international space station.

you can get a satellite tracker here.

NOAA 14, 16, and 17:

beacon: 137.350 MHz

downlink: 137.620 MHz

NOAA 15:

beacon:137.350 MHz

downlink: 137.500

ISS:

145.800 MHz (voice+packet+ARPS)

121.750 MHz (voice NFM)

145.200 MHz (region 1 voice)

143.625 MHz (voice NFM)

436.000 MHz (video)

463.000 MHX (video)

I need a better receiver before I can decode NOAA into images, but its still cool to listen to it pass overhead.

Anyone else listen to satellites? If so, please share.
