is there any good Live DVD linux distros out there that would be good to check out??

Does it have to be a DVD? Because there are hundreds of live cd's out there ... knoppix being the most popular. And many varients of it as well.

yea...i knew about the cds...i was just wondering if there was any out there...and i didn't know fedora had one...thanks

knoppix, slax, gnoppix, ubuntu, helix, knoppix-std, mandrake live, dyne:bolic, damn small, fire

www.distrowatch.com and www.google.com know all.

...tehehehe ya technically all live cds that fit on a cd can fit on a dvd, I think he wants live DVD's meaning bigger than 1gig.

well um, AFAIK, SuSE LiveDVD and FC DVD are the only options then (kind of silly to only limit it to live dvds).

i wasn't limiting myself i was just wondering if there were more out there then the one i allready knew...thanks for the answers...i have copys of a lot of live cd distros...wanted a few live dvd ones to even the score...hehehe
