Tracfone deactivation

I just didn't buy any more minutes with mine.

Perhaps if you call customer service, they'll do it for you.

If you are trying to deactivate and then reactivate a Tracfone for referral minutes, I dont think that works...

Otherwise, just pull the battery out and toss it/put it in the closet. Like MP said, no need to deactivate

No, the reason I want to deactivate it is because when you deactivate the phone, the minutes dont go away for 30 days. When you activate the phone, you tell the company what your service area is. So, I was thinking, if you could deactivate the phone, then reactivate it when you are, say, on the other side of the country, you could keep from incurring roaming charges.

Havent you just tried calling Tracfone CS and having them switch your home area? I dont know why not, you can do with every other pre and post paid provider that I know of.
