PCMCIA Controller

2 posts in this topic

I have been trying to get into wireless lately, but first, I need to get the PCMCIA controller on my Gateway Solo 2100 laptop working (running Slackware 10). "modprobe i82365" had some errors when I was using the kernel pcmcia drivers, so I downloaded the pcmcia-cs package and tried to install. It wouldn't compile the drivers because the kernel had PCMCIA support built in. I don't want to have to recompile the kernel because it will take serveral hours. I need the drivers that come with the pcmcia -cs, because the kernel drivers won't work with my Cirrus Logic GD6730 controller (it needs the option irq_mode=1, which the kernel drivers don't have). Does anyone know where I can get the compiled drivers?
