  1. Yeah, i think so print "EXEC DIAL IAX2/*****\@switch-2.nufone.net/1$call_number\n";
  2. I've been playing around with Asterisk for a few weeks now and i'm in love with it. I figured while I was at it i'd add the Spoof option. Well......i've been fucking around with this damn thing forever and can't get it to connect. I'm using NuFone and the error is: IAX2/ is circuit-busy Mar 12 17:23:17 WARNING[1227]: chan_iax2.c:6985 socket_read: Call rejected by 19 No authority found -- Hungup 'IAX2/' == Everyone is busy/congested at this time (1:0/1/0) To me it looks like a simple case of me not entering my username right in 'cidspoof.agi', but I did. I even tried using my password and anything else i could stick in there that might work.....nothing. So my question is: With NuFone, is there any addtional things I have to do to get this thing off the ground. Thanx for any help
  3. thanks everyone me and droops came up with it. We just got tired of writing the ip addres down or saving it in our cell phone. It's quick, neat, and sleazy.......... :ky:
  4. thanks.......... We here at Infonomicon INC are full of obfuscation.
  5. I noticed every once in a while someone will come on the fourms as a guest and ask the mod's for their ip. This is because it's very inconvenient to write down the ip address when you are at Radio Shack or school or Comp USA. So I came up with a little diddy. http://www.infonomicon.org/ip Just type in the place you are at and your email address and it emails you your ip. Nothing is logged. It's just something simple that I found I needed recently. enjoy
  6. Don't take it to heart what those fucks have to say. I've learned a lot from your site, and that's all that matters. But I do have something to say about digg and kevin rose....but l'll leave that until the next Infonomicon
  7. I started off with slack. It makes you learn it, which is why I love it so much. I wouldn't recomend putting it on your main box. I put it on a old computer and played with it when ever I got a chance. But, if you want to get into linux fast and quick without having to learn the techy stuff, I would suggest (as above) Ubuntu or Knoppix. I will give you this piece of advice, it's hard as hell to find a fourm (besides this one) that is not pretentious as all hell, especially to noobs. Don't be discouraged if you get flamed by some pricks. just keep rolling along.
  8. All the instructions on setting a Shoutcast server up are on their site. I had one set up for the longest so I could listen to all my music at work from my house. I never had a problem with it. But, as someone has said before, if you are going to have more than a few people listening then getting hosting is going to be a way to go. There are a lot of hosting companies that do hosting for music servers. Just look up 'shoutcast hosting' in google and find one you like.
  9. I was wondering if anyone out there has used Symphony Os. I was reading an article about it and found that is used a Mezzo Desktop environment instead of KDE or Gnome. Pretty interesting concept.
  10. I fouth slack. I would recommend a slim version of slack called: Vector Linux. I'm using it on a 333mhz with a 4 gig hd. Works great.
  11. http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?cata...855&site=search I have used this on Infonomicon for the first dozen episodes.
  12. maybe he has a BIG BEEF with gay people and is just scared to admit it.
  13. 1) if you don't want people knowing your personal phone number 2) If the person calling you doesn't have a cell and doesn't want to call long distance 3) to impress someone 4) You have a podcast or do something simular like CB radio. Sort of the same reason as number one. 5) WHY NOT? Don't be an ass!
  14. Here are some sources. Now, will the ntheroy fan club calm down. http://linux-sxs.org/housekeeping/frag.html http://www.salmar.com/pipermail/wftl-lug/2...rch/000603.html
  15. Yeah...... Spend the $30 on the mixer. You are not going to find a better way around it. And if you do the quailty is going to be crap.
