  1. ok, thanks a ton!
  2. this works, but i want it to save it to the text file instead of just outputting it into the command prompt screen. anyway to do that? thanks for the help.
  3. Wasn't sure where else to post this so I just decided to post it here. I used to have a .pl script that would run in windows activeperl that would basically take a text file and remove a certain number of characters (in my case 10) from the end of each line. I've lost the script and was wondering if anyone could write something like that real fast and just attach it to this thread. As I remember the script wasn't very complicated, but my Perl skills aren't up to par. Any help please?
  4. surely someone knows of some more. c'mon.
  5. VoipBuster - http://www.voipbuster.com/ - That's another one, but i'm pretty sure it's the same company as freecall cause when you start the software it has a freecall ad on it. lol.
  6. yea, icall is a hunk of shit. that other one you listed seems to be okay.
  7. Now that Skype is no longer free for placing PC to Phone Calls, I wanted to ask others if they knew of some decent alternatives to Skype. I know Skype wasn't that great, but it had some uses. So far these are the two I have found that allow you to make PC to Landline calls: Icall - http://www.icall.com - Program is pretty buggy and there are times I can't even login. It's decent, but it has its downfalls. Gizmoproject - http://www.gizmoproject.com - This one is actually pretty nice and the program seems to be a lot less buggy than Iccall. Haven't really ran into any problems with this one yet. I kinda like it. EDIT: Nevermind, this isn't actually free. They start you off with $.25 credit, but I been making a lot of calls on just that 25 cents. I knew it was too good to be true! Anyone else care to share some more?
  8. Dr. Death, do you know of a way to set a delay in the code? Say if I only wanted 500 hits in a day. Is there a line I could add that I could specify a number of seconds between each time it executes? Also is there a way to run multiple instances of the .pl at once without opening 20 copies at a time? Like maybe some type of batch file I could create that would spawn multiple instances but only show them in one window?
  9. if bt stays on, why don't you just figure out what port bt is using and then shut that off. then setup wow to run on that port. seems logical to me, but then again i never played wow and I'm not sure if you can change the port on it.
  10. the operator refuses to dial any number because i am calling from a cell phone. it used to work, but i guess the rules changed or something. 10-10-288-0 is also a no go from my cell.
  11. bump....waiting for a response.
  12. I'm on Cingular and have been searching for a way to OP divert. Dialing 0 doesn't work cause the op says since i'm calling from a cell phone, she can't dial anything for me. Anyone have any other ideas or know how?
  13. ok, now how bout cid spoofing? i guess one can only wish...heh.
  14. hmmmm.......any idea where the number came from? looks like Boeing set it up. Don't ask me where I got that info cause I ain't telling....
  15. Saw this being dropped on IRC and it's relatively quiet and toll free. Might be worth calling for those who don't wanna pay for long distance: 866-617-3597 Pass Code: 9294448
