I'm doing some research on Bluetooth cordless phones and need input from anyone whose had first hand experience with using or abusing them. In particular I'm keen to get some thoughts on how secure they are and what if anything can be done to tighten it up. If you've got one of these gadgets I'd also be keen to get your recommendations on what to buy and what not to buy. Cheers
PhoneTool replied to m2mike's topic in Old Skool PhreakingConfess I didn't see the movie, but I'm confident it would have been a Panasonic KX-TG6447 or at least one of the models in the KX-TG64xxxxx series. It's the latest range Panasonic DECT 6.0 cordless phones that include text to speech technology. It operates in combination with caller ID to announce whose calling in between rings. Also a talking alarm clock feature and it will tell you when the handset batteries need charging (they're staandard AAA NiCads). To my knowledge Panasonic is the only manufacturer currently offering these features. Hope this helps - BTW it's a great phone.
