  1. I didn't bash him and I didn't even belittle him. Please elaborate exactly where I did that in my post. I just have an opposing view of what he and others here find a constructive hacking project. So if you want to spend your time RE'ing a flash online game then knock yourself out. -: I just want to provide some alternative criticism, I am entitled to my opinion here like everyone else is right? . As far as learning is concerned then that's fine, learning is completely different but Rehack's agenda seemed to be a little different to just 'learning' Fight the Farmvill! Fight the power!!
  2. Hi Can you think of anything else more productive, worth while and possibly notable to do then a lame online multi player game on a social networking site like facebook ? I would suggest you redirect your energy to more constructive hacking projects then this one. Just my 2p. B
  3. My mum has that phone :/
  4. Been there more then a few times yeah, Its mainly a marketing event.... duh! but I use it mainly to meet up with a few people in the industry and have a few pints. See you there if you are going.
  5. Out of you USA lot anyone going to https://www.har2009.org/ ? And the Britfags ? Those awesome people that are, see you then chaps.
  6. Man I was so drunk.... How embarrassing. I will make sure I wear swim shorts this time round :-) Hope to see you there Number 6
  7. I will be driving through Belgium so you are more then welcome to say hello
  8. 5 of us going as one group yes and 2/3 are making their own way there.
  9. Yes... um.. Yes its in Florida..... Corleone - Never mind, now there are too posts.
  10. The most direct answer to your question is that Binary code is how computers work on hardware level. So 1 for on 0 for off. I have a suspicion that due to your freshness to this field this is not exactly what you are asking but I may be wrong.
  11. $locate command might help too !
  12. you could use Tor or any sort or form of encrypted tunnel like SSH. Depends on what you want to do, If you want to secure Telnet and HAVE to use telnet you could pipe it down a SSH tunnel. If anonymity is imporant then you want to use something like Tor. Or you could hack yourself some Tier 1/2 ISP routers
  13. can you brut RDP ? i want to brut brut brut lol

  14. if you are trying to add some anonymity your internet traffic try using a socks proxy or web proxy. Maybe a service such as Tor. but to answer your question literally. $ipconfig /renew
  15. unfortunately life tends to get in the way of being able to produce radio shows. I would rather be able to dedicate at least 2 good hours of time for each show, inject at least a bit of quality. due to other projects stuff tends to have to be put on the back burner. This is some times a positive thing. Allowing me and other people to dedicate more time to other projects etc. As with everything in this world things come and go. But there will be some one else who will take up the baton. Thankfully HPR has fills that gap... alongside all the other underground and mainstream shows too. I would say to anyone, who thinks that there is not what they seek out there.. im sure there are a few of you out there. Try and do it for yourself! produce a 45min show of specifically exactly the type of thing YOU would love to download and listen to. I can guarantee some one will like it.. slowly it will snowball into bigger greater things. But, if it doesn't take off. Don't get dis hearted. Try something else.
  16. damn that binrev spider guy is such a post whore.. srsy though, looks interesting i wonder what the legalities of this are.
  17. I think that may be part of the problem they are trying too many things at once. Dont spread yourself too thin would by my tip! Work on 1 thing for lets say a week. then do another then another. not everything at the same time.
  18. my 2 cents.. Saw this as Poetic-Justice posted it over at our forums, he got roughly the same response over from the UK people. If you want feedback; generally unimpressed with the forums. I think the main site looks tragic, it needs some one to edit that CSS file quickly. the main site impacted on my impression from the offset. like some one mentioned i thought "skript kiddies" thats not a good impression to have from the start. The forums / site dont stand out from the countless other hacker forums. They showed me nothing of what was advertised in Poetic-Justice's inital intro posts so i was extremely disappointedly. Points on improval of site: Remove the annoying shout box from the forums. if you have a forum, why bother with a shoutbox? its just detracting. implement some sort of user registration validation. I didn't even get an email saying please click here to validate yourself so you can post. The admins may regret this heavily once spambots get a hold. VIP? wtf? lol... i always fall on the floor in fits of laughter when forums such as these have V.I.P sections. I aint paying for the promise of a prevalige of being part of the V.I.P group for a meaningless paypal transaction. My comment: get rid of that stupid sh*t or justify it to the sky for asking money from users. If there is a good reason for it then sure, if its just another damn section on the forums thats identical or even more lame then the rest then goodbye. The theme is Ok, but the favi icon dont make any sence.. looks like its on default. Oh and finally. Why do people insist on blocking off forum content to guests ? is it just so you can boost forum member numbers? seems a bit silly. I don't see why the content of the forums should be locked away, there really isn't anything fantastically special in there </b>
  19. Hiya, Good to have another brit on here. I would recommend you look into where your local 2600 meeting is. http://www.2600uk.com/ Also (not to be a total spam mediawhore honestly) check out http://www.hackervoice.co.uk ... some active UK hacker stuff. (im getting back into doing the radio show, had some IRL problems so i didnt have any time to dedicate) More to the point is get yourself out there and speak to people ( like you have here ) the best way to learn is to exchange information with others and have people show you stuff that you can take home and play with and learn about. Hope that helps.. B
  20. Will i be seeing you at the next 2600 meeting in that case?
  21. do you have build essentials installed? $ apt-get install build-essentials
  22. are you trying to do this on the box that will be pranked ? ie localy? like at a friends house... i suggest you could just edit the host file and stick in www.sitetobeblockedorredirected.com 232.232.122.42 will be the IP address of wher eyou want the preson to go to so any time the person tries to go on that site they will eather not get to it (if thats what you want) or they will be re-directed to another site that you set.
  23. Yes i will hack it for you, but i need payment upfront please reply with you Credit card detials and pin number. kthnxbi

  25. so what is the actual problem you are having? i mean by GONE what do you mean ?? does it not boot? what error message are you getting ? does the computer turn on ? please be more descriptive ! if the disk is dead then you may have to pay a pretty penny for restoration services. if its a partition corruption or a OS corruption they you may have a better chance getting your data back.
