  1. I saw the movie in an advanced screening at my college campus and the movie is HILARIOUS!!! And yes, it is very weird that it's not letting you put in fake information
  2. Thanks nick84 for uploading the presentations. I am bummed out that I missed HOPE but I can now listen to it. Thanks
  3. On the topic of CompTIA, has anyone taken the Security+ exam?
  4. Yea, I would go with Union Station.
  5. For a pen testing distro you might want to give BackTrack a spin. You can use the live-cd first and if you like it install it on the hard drive. You can get it from
  6. Is there a good, free reverse lookup database for public phone numbers? I hate it when I have a call on my cell and it shows the number but I have no idea who its from. Google has a pretty good directory of numbers, but it does not always work. Can someone suggest something good and free? Thanks
  7. Happy Birthday!

  8. To Stank and All the CoHosts! I would like to thank you all for making this show! Thanks for all the time you have spent teaching and entertaining all of us (or at least me). I have definitely learned a lot from listening to you guys talk about all the different topics. I enjoyed all of Stank's rants. I also liked meeting a few of you at Hope 6. Your show has kept me busy all through high school. I guess all good things have to come to an end. I wish you all the best. Thanks for the memories!!! Cypress
  9. YAY! I just got my shirt in the mail today. Thanks Stank for shipping out so promptly. I will definitely be proudly displaying it in school tomorrow.
  10. My local Greetings and Readings store has had this book for over a year is quite funny actually.
  11. I can't wait for the final version to be released! [drool]
  12. Just got the orange one. It was my first purchase on my first credit card....Please don't hax it! Glad that I am giving a little contribution to BinRev and thanks for not having beg-a-thons!
  13. Ok, I was trying to follow a tutorial on how to install compiz-fusion and I managed to break my Nvidia driver. The tutorial can be found here: after I ran the sudo aptitude install nvidia-glx sudo nvidia-xconfig --add-argb-glx-visuals things began to go downhill. After reverting to an older xorg.conf file everything seemed to work, but it turned out that I was using the "nv" driver instead of the "nvidia" one. Then I really got frustrated and ran apt-get remove nvidia-* --purge after which I followed the "Debian Way" to reinstall the driver by doing apt-get install module-assistant gcc nvidia-kernel-common m-a update m-a prepare m-a auto-install nvidia Again, everything seemed to work, and I got no error messages, so I went ahead and edited my xorg.conf file and chagned the driver from "nv" to "nvidia" just like it said in the Debian Wiki. However, that did not avail success. KDM wouldn't start. Can anyone please tell me what to do? I really hate 60HZ refresh rate at 1600x1200 resolution. THANK YOU!
  14. I run Debian 4.0 on my main machine; XP SP2 on the laptop--have to share it with the family; S60 V3 on my phone which I use for a lot of things.
  15. Just listen to the first few episodes and you are bound to get what it means.
