  1. Well done. I had thought about something like that, but I didn't have the knowledge (i.e. knowing what numbers stations are, I'm a n00b at life and am not really in the radio scene). However I loved how OTH tried to make it seem like they were doing it by denail. I thought that Strom would be the one to figure it out...hadn't expected that he also did it. Congrads! Also, I remember another time Strom was on Slashdot, regarding spelling and grammar.
  2. http://yro.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/07/24/1817212 Ok, apparently it was non related. Granted, I do still have some suspicions, but I also wonder if this guy was capable of anything (escape, violence, etc)...it's a stretch, but so is finding 500 pages of docs in 4.5 hours. Could he have done everything according to his own plan, knowing full well what would happen? Was his presentation for real? Did he work for the feds? Is he just SEing us? Did anyone here see this happen? What I think will be most interesting is how Emmanuel will react and what followers will think. I put a good deal of trust into Emmanuel, but I know that no mater what side he is on, others will accuse him of lying. The community has to look at this with a clear and cool head.
  3. This event will really get me back into the whole scene...and I've matured a bit since I was last here so it's serious now.
  4. http://hope94.hope.net/ http://beyond.hope.net/ http://www.h2k.net/ http://www.h2k2.net/ http://www.the-fifth-hope.org/ http://www.hopenumbersix.net/ ALL of them timed out. I'm pjeering.
  5. Ok, I'm not there, altough I'd love to be. Also, I realize I haven't posted in a while...sorry, life happens. I read this http://it.slashdot.org/it/06/07/22/2332223.shtml and was worried. Then I found that hope.net and 2600.com were inaccessable...that's not good.

  7. Just fill out the forms using BS info. Do it a lot and use a web proxy. It won't be a DOS but it will decrease their signal to noise ratio.
  8. That's good to know, I thought there was something wrong with my eyes.
  9. send it to textfiles.com
  10. mmm hmm ETA: 26
  11. Well, I would be surprised if FEMA didn't have a line for all 911 call centers. Do you still have acsess to this call center place?
  12. Mount weather is realy interesting. It is a special facility. It has sttelite teleregistration, FEMA logistics, it is used for launching weather kites. It is also where the army and government officials would be held in the event of nuclear attack or war. Not much is known about it and less has been released. official site: http://www.fema.gov/rrr/weather.shtm wikipedia says: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Weather There is a lot of secrecy about it and it has some interesting history. An airplane once hit it. It probobly has some advanced comunications, it had color video phone in the 50's. In the 70's it had a supercomputer, it probobly has one now. It has it's own water and power systems. It is believed by many to have a massive underground facility. It should be known that it is also a huge target for conspiranioists so my info may not all be correct.
  13. thats not the worst :puke:
  14. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050501/ap_on_...HNlYwMlJVRPUCUl Interesting story. Aparently you can still get acsees. The story confuses me as to wether he actualy had a computer, which seems unlikely or was transcribing his emails through visitors, mail, or phone. I wan't sure which forum to put this in but it involves phone and the law so I put it in phreaking. I personaly don't think that somone should go to jail for this. I don't think it realy cost ATT&T that much, maybe he just didn't pay them for that much worth of service. If he realy did cost them that much he should be fined, it was probobly AT&T's fault anyway, though. The article doesn't have too much detail, on anything.
  15. and remember if you do call to turn your speakers down, feedback isn't nice.
