  1. Look out for the rape.

  2. They're pretty much over every shallow gas line or power line. If you went outside, you'd probably notice them.
  3. That's a really irritating noise. It's like the TV noise olzo references, only it grates on my nerves way more.
  4. That's why you don't sign things. Anyway, I work with some over-zealous network admins, who happen to be fellow students. They spearheaded a campaign to block right-clicking, and they implemented a "program access list", which means that the only things you can run have to be on their "list". This obviously causes way more problems than it ever solved (if it solved any at all). One person in particular would constantly hound people for things like using proxies and other workarounds (images.google.co.uk), even if it was for legitimate schoolwork. As soon as his weirdass dungeon roleplaying site got added to the Websense free-speech-disallowed list, he was all over those proxies like a fly on shit.
  5. My car broke down, so unfortunately I won't be there this time around...
  6. I dont think they are poorly made. Just not portable, as in the case with DirectX. DirectX IS vastly superior to OpenGL because DirectX is part of the Direct3D package which does everything from keyboard input to sound. OpenGL is just graphics. While that was true not long ago, the Transgaming guys are doing a somewhat good job on Cedega. Me and a couple of buddies have been getting Windows games playing with performance comparable to Windows. ← Cedega looks very nice, but unfortunately you can't use it without a paid subscription.
  7. Games tend to perform poorly on any unix-like OS for me. I don't know exactly why, but it just does. Running any game through an emulator is going to decrease performance alot, and I wouldn't reccomend it.
  8. Never used it, but the ads for the thing piss me off to no end. WANT TOS TSOP SPA<M TKACKERS SPYPOWRAWARE IVVIRTUSES INTERNET FIREWALLS BUGS HACKING COMPUTERCODE THEFTATION? USE THE HACKERPROOF BARARRARRARARARAKOODAH SPAM AND SPYWAREZ FIREWALL!@#!#%!#%$#^???? ? ? At least that's how I hear it.
  9. HI

    English not inclusive, I guess.
  10. Yes, just like on every forum, after you send any email, when you visit someone's website, go onto IRC or do anything on the internet. That's how it works.
  11. Just redownload all the drivers.
  12. Title: Barfly Rating: 10^2
  13. Someone mentioned an exploit in IRC for Counter-strike 1.6 that had to do with bots, and how they interact with the server. It was recently released, despite being preemptively patched by Valve (changelogs, anyone?). Since Fiend is being mr. vague on the details, I can only assume this is the same thing, although it's possible that there's other ways CS bots can act as a gateway onto a system.
  14. http://wks.uts.ohio-state.edu/unix_course/unix.html Also... what?
  15. This has actually been previously released, and subsequently patched.
