9. The original recorded pilot episode of BRR that was recorded in 2003. This episode was not scheduled or aired to the public, but was made available for download. It was used mostly for testing our sister site which was also launching over at ddphackradio.org at the same time. DDP HackRadio became the site that launched and aired Binary Revolution Radio episodes before they were released to the public for download. It also was also the official streaming home to RFA as well as Default Radio. The site went on to air live episodes of another one of our shows called Phreak Phactor as well as live episodes of Default Radio.
This was the episode that started it all.

  25. Stank is hosting with verbal on the second part of this double header, verbal gives his mentor program update, Email about security concerns about gmail, verbal talks about encrypting gmail messages, most web based email providing companies only encrypt username and passwords not actual email messages, email about VoIP as a backup phone line, verbal was talking to his mom the other day, recap of tunneling concepts, verbal discusses tunneling IP over DNS, stank explains IP address resolution in context with a VPN, verbal explains virtual addressing with VPN's, full tunneling sends all data to the virtual network connection, split tunneling all the traffic meant for the domain of the VPN would be tunneled over the virtual connection all other traffic goes out your normal network connection, in a split tunnel you become a "bridge" between the two networks which poses some security risks, verbal talks about logging into multiple VPNs, ipsec encrypts the the whole packet including headers only the vpn gateway can see the actual packet, SSL tunneling just encrypts the data useful for web proxies, PPTP L2TP and L3TP are all tunneling protocols, make sure your VPN server machine is secure, it is possible to connect to multiple VPN servers at the same time, site of the week powerlabs.org.
NOTE: This was episode 2 of a back-to-back double header.
