I get a lot of questions from people asking me to recommend web hosting companies to them. I have used many different hosting companies and generally, I have had good luck. I plan to put together a list of web hosting companies that I support and who are "hacker-friendly" in their terms of service.
Understand that when I say "hacker-friendly" hosting, I don't mean that you will be able to do anything illegal, since that is not what hacking is about. What I mean is that the hosting company will allow you to have your freedom of speech and will not be afraid to let you discuss topics that may be borderline dangerous or questionable.
I will include a list of Web Hosting companies that will range from co-location facilities to full administered servers right down to low-end cheap hosting. You will have to determine your own web hosting needs. This is a work in progress and will be ongoing over time.
There simply is a lot of competition in the web hosting arena and a little review and/or recommendation will go a long way.
