Here is a longshot.
There is a seven character password on Avaya Merlin Legend systems that is set at the factory. Does anyone know what this default password is?
This password is used to access programming functions over a 1200 or 2400 baud modem connection.
This password comes into play (I think) if you dial *10 from inside the system or if you dial the main line, get an operator, and ask them to dial Transfer, *10, and then hang up.
Any guesses as to what the default password is?

I looked here to find out that the password is seven characters:

That link might not work. You may have to register with that site. The manual says contact your System Consultant (SC) to find out what the default seven-character password is. Does anyone know a system consultant?

It's worth a try to call avaya, get the system consultant, find out what info he needs, then call a company, get that info, and call him back
