ok, in the show, BatMan (Adam West) and Robin(Burn Ward) had a direct line to Commissioner Gordon. he would call up and say "the joker just broke out of prison" and they'd go to the batcave and drive out in the batmobile(original a modified cadillac) anywya, the phone only connected batman and the commissioner, so no dial was needed, the button looking thing where the rotary dial should go is a little red light, when the other party picked up the phone, the light blinked.but being that i have never seen the batman show, i dont really understand.

The original batmobile was the 1955 Lincoln Futura, a concept car built in italy for Ford. It was customized for the show by George Barris.and they'd go to the batcave and drive out in the batmobile(original a modified cadillac)
