hello I have just a weird question

I've got a link http://www.studenten...e.asp?dsr_id=34
it is supposed to link to one of my students home website so that one can vote but in some kind of way but my internet is shared and I only can vote ones?!!!!!!!! does somebody know why?

your ip is being stored or it's an counter with a cookie (if theirs a *cookie on your system the counter will stay the same)

well, first of all...It looks like that links causes everyone who clicks on it to vote. If that was his intent, he got a couple of votes for free.

If it was a mistake, then I can tell you this:

The cookie is written only when you click on a picture. However, I kept deleting and re-voting for the first picture and I did not see the percentage change. This leads me to believe that it is using IP resolution to ensure that you only vote once per IP address.
