I'm digging this idea out from the dead! If you weren't around for these, the idea is pretty simple. Find the weirest, awesomest, or just simply practical phone related things you can from eBay, and paste them in; if you like it, it's probably worth sharing. I'll start.

Bell System Operator's Headset

Point to Point T1 radio. Because...well, why not? Make your own black routes!

Point to Point HDSL/T1 modem. Also why not?

I was planning on posting a super cheap Definity PBX I saw yesterday, but it looks like somebody snagged it. So here's something, well, maybe, kinda sorta possibly as good...ish. An exotic, "Program Control Telephone Exchanger" from the far east  .

15A Announcement Machine (like the kind 5ESSes use)

100% down with bringing this back -- I still use the Bell System tack/rivet hammer I picked up from one of these pretty much every week.

Awesome flashlight, still made but the offical Justrite one is like $50 new...you can put an LED bulb in them:

Best toolbox you can get for small parts/mobile hacking kit, mine goes everywhere with me. This one is a little expensive, but comes with a pile of tools inside:

Super-good deal on older Digium TDM400:

Hah, I have one of these which I bought after talking to you about them. I never did leave it powered on as I lack a proper 48v power supply. My plan was to hook it up to a Sipura FXS and set up an Asterisk dialin, I may have to ressurrect it sometime!

I got mine in really filthy condition for less than $20, empty of course. Hit it with some black Kiwi shoe shine and it's good as new.
