Could yelling loudly into a phone cause electronic damage?
Tested on two analog phones, one digital, amazing surprise.

It's well established that sound levels far in excess of normal can cause physical damage to objects in their way. For example, shock waves from a supersonic object can sometimes break windows even several miles away. Therefore, it stands to reason that shouting into a phone may have a potential to cause physical damage. It is however unlikely that electrical damage would also result.

I have screamed at my phone MANY times. Typically when i flash a rom and my phone commits suicide and jumps into a hard brick. But i have never had any issues, i guess it is possible. Older (and probably still but idk for new stuff) mics had a diaphragm in them and it would be moved by sound, so in theory if it moved to much it could break....
I think i need to make a video of myself scream testing microphones.
