The only problem is i need to force apache and php to conduct their crawling through a SOCKS5 proxy.
How do I do this?
I REALLY want to start a TOR search engine, as there are NO good ones out there.
I want to use the following script, as I really like it:
http://www.sphider.eu/
Any help?

due to the nature of tor I don't believe its possible the way you want it done. You need to know the .onion link before surfing to the site.
There are already directories of .onion sites... on an .onion site somewhere... (found one: https://dppmfxaacucguzpc.tor2web.org/ <- Im reading that this one is one of the original directories but you need to add your site if you want to be indexed)
edit:
some one please correct me if im wrong. This is an interesting Idea, but I dont know if it's possible. If it is, I'd imagine it would be slow.
maybe im mis-understanding the question. Are we talking .onion sites?

I think what you can do is use google to search for already indexed sites that are based from tor2web.org
for example, if you wanted to find for example the subject of drugs on an onion site a google query might look like this:
drugs site:tor2web.org
this brings you to : https://k6gsb4ibatci...web.org/r/drugs as the first link on google with about 2,110 results.
I know this probably isn't what you ment.
