Now I'm not much on doing prison time so I tend to stay away from stuff of this nature but it looks interesting to say the least. Has anyone ever been in the military and or worked for the gov and got to use it or does anyone know much about how it works and stuff?

i do not recall these phone networks from when i was in the coast guard (mid 90's) - then again what use would i have for this network working in the engine room in the middle of the ocean?

but since working in this industry, i have been made aware of these networks, and they seem very interesting... i also have chosen to stay away from actually doing anything other than read about them... but they seem like they would be pretty interesting to explore...

*cough* Confcon '10 *cough*

That was a lot of fun, I forgot how cool the whine of all those bridges was.

EDIT: Incidentally, did we lose our only online copy of this when the confcon website went down?
