A Dial Tone made in Audacity 1.2.6 for Windows (Windows XP 32-bit). This is the Audacity project file (.AUP). It may be exported to a .WAV, .MP3 or some other format in Audacity.

The tone consists of a 350 Hz tone and a 440 Hz at -13dB, playing continuously for 30 seconds.

I lowered the gain to -12dB as per the dial tone WAV at http://www.telephone..._conditions.htm

I found that it does sound much more like a real, modern dial tone than if I were to have left the gain at its default of 0dB.
