Need advice on how to clear the CMOS password on the HP Elitebook 8530w model.
Call HP and they said had to be sent back to have the motherboard replaced.
I've read a previous post on clearing of CMOS passwords, especially using unlock6.exe. But this system seemed a bit different. It does not generate a code after 3 tries..

Try pulling the battery on the motherboard for about 30 minutes.Need advice on how to clear the CMOS password on the HP Elitebook 8530w model.
