phreaking has evolved.. most of the boxes do not work any longer.. but phreaking was never really about stealing service, it was about learning the telephone network... there are plenty of ways to get cheap or free calls that phreaking for the sole purpose of stealing calls is not worth the effort, or risk any more..Guys is phreaking still alive?????? :wink:
phreaking is still alive, although it is probably not as popular as it once was..

As I like to say, "phreaking is not about stealing calls. They're too cheap to steal anyway."there are plenty of ways to get cheap or free calls that phreaking for the sole purpose of stealing calls is not worth the effort, or risk any more..
